Miranda Cabiladas is an MBA student currently in her fifth term. She is passionate about photography and traveling, and enjoys meeting people from different parts of the globe.

On Wednesday, September 13th, NYIT-Vancouver Campus Life brought 22 students to watch the Vancouver Whitecaps FC play against Minnesota United FC at the BC Place in Vancouver, BC.

“This was my first time attending a soccer match, so it was an incredible experience that allowed me to meet other new students. I am glad I was able to participate in this fun activity”, Laksith Chengappa, a new MBA Student, said.

Everybody in the audience was energized and cheering for the Whitecaps to win. Even though some students arrived at halftime, they were still able to enjoy the rest of the match. The Whitecaps scored two goals in the first half and a third goal right before the final whistle. With a 3-0 result in Vancouver’s favor, NYIT students got a chance to experience the great atmosphere in the stadium.
