Saturday Afternoon @ the Vancouver Aquarium

Mar 12, 2019

On Saturday, March 9, 2019, we went to the Vancouver Aquarium. It is a public aquarium located in Stanley Park, Vancouver, British Columbia. It is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Vancouver. Also, the aquarium is center for marine life conservation and research. We reached there at 1 p.m. via public transit. After checking in, we took a group picture. Then we advanced to the tropic zone, which gives insight to the marine life of tropical regions of the world. Moreover, there was a section named as Amazon rain forest, where they had a small greenhouse where there were various animals and birds from the tropics, such as sloths, macaws, monkeys, snakes and many more. Students were awestruck by their vivid colors and beauty. Another section was the Wild Coast, which portrayed the marine life at the western coast of Canada. There were numerous species of fishes, which also had some good information for the same. Moreover, there was a 4D theatre, which showed a short documentary about various species of sharks. The experience was very interactive and was informative too.Students were amazed to see the sea lions at the aquarium. Furthermore, the dolphin show was fun!

Overall, the students had a wonderful and informative experience, where they learned a lot about marine life and the importance of their conservation.
