In 1977 JP Morgan began running their Corporate Challenge 3.5 Mile race to promote camaraderie, teamwork and sense of community among those who work together. They presently hold this event in 13 cities in seven countries on five continents. Through the efforts of SHP’s Dr. Melanie Austin, Assistant Professor in the Occupational Therapy Department, NYIT was accepted to enter a team this year.

This year’s event will take place in Central Park, NYC, at 7 PM on Wednesday May 30 and we hope walkers and runners at all levels will consider joining us! There are only 25 spots on the team, entry is limited to NYIT faculty and staff and the fee is $52. Signing up is very simple by clicking here but keep in mind that the deadline is April 25.
