Recently, Dr. Purushottam Meena and Dr. Rajen Tibrewala’s paper was accepted for publication in the International Journal of Production Economics. The International Journal of Production Economics is one of the top journals in the operations management field. Additionally, the journal has received a A* out of four categories of quality (A*, A, B, C) by the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC).

The paper, titled, “Impact of sustainability and manufacturing practices on supply chain performance: Findings from an emerging economy,” was co-written by R. Katiyar, M. Barua, R. Tibrewala, and G. Kumar. This paper presents a unique approach based on Partial Least Squares and Analytic Hierarchy Process (PLS-AHP) for computing Sustainable Supply Chain Performance Index (SSCPI) for automobile firms. The results show that sustainability performance mediates the relationships of supply chain functions to supply chain performance. The paper also discusses implications to theory and practice, especially for emerging economies.
