New York Institute of Technology's School of Management achieved a significant milestone by hosting its first Spencer Risk Manager on Campus (RMOC) focusing on "Career Opportunities & Recent Developments in Risk Management." The event was made possible through the generous support of Spencer Educational Foundation, Marsh, international insurance broker and risk advisor, and RIMS New York Chapter to facilitate hands-on learning experiences for students both within campus and beyond. 

During the two-day event, Robert Cartwright Jr., who was previously the president and chair of RIMS Global Board of Directors, served as the “Risk Manager on Campus.” The event centered on the impacts of cyber security, ransom ware, and artificial intelligence (AI) risks on the risk management and insurance industry. School of Management students had chances to join career planning sessions, expand their professional networks, and participated in cutting-edge risk management workshops led by industry leaders.
