This week’s In Reality podcast episode, our host John Rebecchi, P.h.D. welcomes Viranda Tantula, and Michael Polier, co-founders of Potion Projects a consulting firm helping brands, esports, artists and entrepreneurs develop strategies to engage users in the metaverse and emerging technologies such as blockchain, virtual reality, web3.0, and NFTs.

Tantula is an entrepreneur with immense management experience in the digital entertainment and music industries. Tantula obtained a degree in economics and considered himself “a student of contemporary arts.” With multiple passion in fashion, art, music, film and gaming, he previously worked at Riot Games, Paramount Pictures, VENN and co-founded FoundTrack Creative.

Polier is an entrepreneur with 20 years of experience as an executive-level operator in sales, marketing, digital strategy, and business development. He previously spent 11 years as a film & video editor, executive level manager, and business owner in the entertainment industry (Marvel, Warner Bros, Universal, Sony, Pop Sugar, and others).

With Tantula and Polier’s expertise, Potion Projects focuses on the interconnection between contemporary culture and gaming, metaverse and the virtual world. They noted that “the metaverse is used too narrowly while gaming is used to widely.” Tantula and Polier discuss the concept of Play2Earn (play-to-earn) and Tokenomics. They encourage listeners to learn about Axie Infinity while exploring ScreenshotLabs to see their innovative ideas.

Tantula’s advice for entrepreneurs entering into the digital world is to be open to the journey and stay curious. Polier’s advice for digital entrepreneurs is to fully immerse themselves in the experience and make use of opportunities to practice the tools.
