Two of Dr. Jangwon Suh’s papers were presented at national-level conferences, peer-reviewed and invitation only.

One paper, “Did US Firms Experience Positive Information Externalities Associated with Mandatory IFRS adoption?” coauthored with Anna Brown, Donal Byard, and Masako Darrough, was accepted for the 2017 International Accounting Section (IAS) Midyear Meeting of the American Accounting Association (AAA) in Tampa, FL, and presented by Anna Brown on January 21, 2017. This paper won the Best Paper Award at the conference.

The other paper, “Product Market Competition and Firms’ Disclosure Strategy of R&D Expenditures,” coauthored with Masako Darrough and Yannan Shen, was accepted for the 2017 Financial Accounting and Reporting Section (FARS) Midyear Meeting of the American Accounting Association (AAA) in Charlotte, NC and was presented by Dr. Suh on January 28, 2017.
