The Urban Land Institute (ULI) partnered with the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), Prof. Jeffrey Raven,  and the Urban Climate Change Research Network (UCCRN). Urban Design Climate Workshops were conceived by UCCRN and NYIT as hands-on, capacity-building exercises to engage the local community, industry professionals, and city officials as they confront climate challenges in a 21st-century neighborhood.

The Net-Zero District initiative, is led by the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter and NYIT, in collaboration with the In-Source Belmont Forum-National Science Foundation, a European-American research consortium.
