Project EAST: Euro-Asia Sustainable Towns/European New Towns & Pilot Cities Platform.

The Qingpu Shanghai workshop was part of a European Union program called Euro-Asian Sustainable Towns Programme (EAST) to promote exchange of knowledge and learning about new towns between Europe and Asia. ENTP, European New Town Platform is the managing partner of this program, with partners Basildon (UK), Baoshan, Qingpu (China), Naya Raipur, and the Euro-India Center.

Jeffrey Raven was invited to participate as an expert in sustainable urban design.
