Professor Jeffrey Raven’s presentation and panel contribution to the event highlighted applied research undertaken by NYIT’s Graduate Urban Design students for the Paris ARCH703 Design Studio during the COP21 climate negotiations. The participating graduate students were present at the event and answered questions on the intersection of urban form and climate. Fellow panelists included AIA national president Thomas Vonier, NY Times journalist Andrew Revkin, Rockefeller Foundation VP and Climate & Policy Director Dan Zarrilli.
