NYIT Assoc. Professor Jeffrey Raven was co-PI and Steering Committee member for the winning proposal, who saw the NSF grant as an excellent opportunity to build NYIT SoAD’s capacity to successfully pursue NSF grants in the coming years. Prof. Raven used his NSF funding to invite two NYIT SoAD urban design faculty colleagues Prof. Marcella Del Signore and Prof. Dongsei Kim to contribute their expertise to the national workshop at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada and workshop report.
