Jeffrey Raven FAIA LEED BD+C, NYIT Director, Graduate Program in Urban Design & Associate Professor contributed to a roundtable on Cities with Nature in Laayoune, Morocco (Western Sahara). Speaking to a conference of global experts, he expanded on the traditional influence and capabilities of architect-urbanists by bridging climate science, policy and design practice.

His intervention provided an operational framework and case studies for practicing urban design professionals and a policy framework for municipal governments.

Introducing and moderating the roundtable was Michael Berkowitz, former President of 100 Resilient Cities at the Rockefeller Foundation.
