ARCH 843 – Digital Tools for Urban Design _Prof. Tali Cantor, Leland Jobson_ Mid-Term Fall2020
The course introduces a suite of design tools for urban designers, including ArcGIS, Adobe InDesign/Illustrator, Rhino, and Grasshopper, while emphasizing efficient workflows between 2D and 3D software. Using mapping and modeling tools students visualize spatial patterns across demographic, social, economic, cultural, and physical environments with the aim to reveal place-based narratives and inform urban design opportunities.
