My name is Maha Essani, and I am currently an undergraduate student majoring in Digital Arts at New York Institute of Technology. 

The idea of expressing myself through my artwork is something I have always loved. I was quite surrounded by art growing up, and I was fortunate enough to have wonderful experiences, surrounded by talented and mentoring creatives. I aspire to become an animator, conceptual artist, or children’s book illustrator.

I enjoy exploring different fields of digital art, including 2D animation and 3D modeling. My practice isn’t confined to any particular medium, however, I have always retained an appreciation for pencil and paper. I love creating works that recreate traditional painting techniques digitally, merging both the improvisation of traditional and the versatility of digital media.
