My name is Kelly Glielmi, I’m a senior from the Digital Arts department here at the New York Institute of Technology. My specialty lies in character concepting and storytelling.

While at NYIT I have been working as a freelancer. During my freshman year, I was commissioned to create illustrations for a children’s book that has since been published.

As an artist, my goal is to tell stories and create characters that have heart. It’s my belief that the characters I create have life to them, they have a meaning and a purpose. The same can be said about my stories. I feel that in animation, giving your characters and stories the respect that it deserves is only right because it comes directly from you!
