My name is Jessica Hernandez, though all of my friends know me as Jack. I’m a 19-year-old sophomore at NYIT Old Westbury, studying Digital Arts in the hopes of one day becoming a children’s’ show animator. In my free time—whenever I am not drawing—I am working on my video game for Game Design and/or working on my choreography for my club, Eclipse. I take pride in my work, but I’m aware I have much to learn. In the past, I went to a career and technical school to learn Computer Animation. In the two years I spent there, I learned about my abilities and my weaknesses. I’m not strong in 3D, and I am aware of this now, but that doesn’t mean I won’t give my all in a project—no matter the medium.
