Hi! :) I am Amelia Razak from Guyana. I am currently a rising junior pursuing my B.F.A. in graphic design at NYIT.

Last semester, I secured an internship at The Shark Group where I was able to create designs and arrange posts for social media. It was truly a rewarding experience and I intend to continue my internship there in the upcoming semester. I have also worked in the HIVE, where I was able to learn more about the amazing technology we have at NYIT.

My goal for the future is to become a UI/UX designer and work on interface designs for apps and websites. I am currently learning HTML and CSS to broaden my skillset and be able to perform more duties. I am proficient in several Adobe programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and AfterEffects. I usually work on prototyping with Adobe XD and Photoshop. Design is present everywhere that we look and I feel as though great design can help make life easier and is a great way to bring light to everyday issues and spread awareness.
