Jesse Reiser and Nanako Umemoto, directors of their practice Reiser + Umemoto Architecture (RUR),
joins our M.Arch graduate seminar, ARCH 791 – Special Studies in Architecture, taught by Professor Tom Verebes, to discuss RUR’s project, the 0-14 Tower in Dubai, completed in 2011. This seminar focuses on the architectural envelope as a mode of comparison of the use of technology, through six exemplary building envelopes, of six seminal buildings completed within the first 20 years of this century.
