The Museum of Modern Art: Painting and Sculpture

Wonderful news for art lovers and anyone who enjoys viewing art online. NYIT Library database ARTstor is collaborating with The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) to share more than 1,400 images of works from its permanent collection in the Digital Library. The works in the Department of Painting and Sculpture represent a comprehensive overview of major artists and artistic movements from the late 19th century to the present, including masterworks by Alexander Calder, Paul Cézanne, Marc Chagall, Salvador Dalí, Marcel Duchamp, Paul Gauguin, Frida Kahlo, Vasily Kandinsky, Georgia O’Keeffe, Willem de Kooning, Rene Magritte, Henri Matisse, Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock, Auguste Rodin, Vincent van Gogh, and Andy Warhol, among others.
