In light of the current challenging economy, NYIT’s Office of Career Services will host a seminar, Backpack to Briefcase, on Thursday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Manhattan and Old Westbury campuses to provide recent graduates the information and tools for a competitive edge in the job market.

Spend the day learning from employers in the field, career development professionals, and faculty about how to plan for the job search, create marketing tools, and use resources available to job seekers.

To participate in this workshop, you must register IN PERSON by Friday, July 10:

1. Visit the Office of Career Services (in Old Westbury or Manhattan)
2. Complete registration documents with Career Services, sign up for Career Net, and upload your resume
3. Pay a $5 fee upon registration
