(Updating every fifteen minutes or so, refresh for current version)
The networks have called… (delegate totals in parentheses)
Clinton (845) — New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Arizona, California.
Obama (765) — Missouri, Delaware, Connecticut, Georgia, Alabama, Illinois, Kansas, Idaho, Minnesota, Utah, Colorado, and North Dakota.
2,025 delegates needed to win the Democratic Nomination.
—————
McCain (613) — Oklahoma, New York, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, Illinois, California.
Huckabee (190) — Arkansas, West Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama.
Romney (269) — Utah, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Colorado.
1,191 needed to win the Republican Nomination.

1AM update:Cali’s in and it’s going to Clinton and McCain, but results come in slowly because of the paper ballots and so it’ll be a while until the exact percentages come in. One interesting thing about that election is the the amount of early/absentee voting means that Edwards has a non-insignificant 10 percent of the vote right now, pretty good for having been out of the race for a week.

10 PM: McCain takes the states that tend Democratic in the National, Obama takes the South and Clinton the Northeast. It’s a muddled election, no clear winner, and with proportional delegate appropriation there doesn’t seem like there will be a huge winner in delegate count, but California isn’t in, and the full election returns are needed to calculate who’s getting how many delegates on the democratic side.

Delagate totals from The Times.
